Friends of Roman Cats (FORC) holds an annual silent auction party to celebrate “The Blessings Animals Give Us”. It is based on a centuries old Italian festival, “The Blessing of The Animals” which takes place on the feast day of St.Anthony Abbot, the patron saint of domestic animals. We get together to celebrate our animal friends and to raise donations to help our spay/neuter and feral assistance programs in the Bay Area and Italy.

The auction raises funds to help the struggling cat rescue groups in Italy and for our St Francis fund, which assists Bay Area ferals in need of emergency care or surgery. Hand crafted ceramics, jewelry and local art are featured at our auction, as well as great essential oil and bath products, gift baskets, wine, and many gift certificates to delicious local restaurants, services, sports, and more.
