Working with homeless cats might not be everyone’s idea of an idyllic Roman holiday, but for Susan Wheeler she wouldn’t have it any other way. Wheeler is the co founder of Friends of Roman Cats, a San Francisco based nonprofit organization that raises money to support trap, neuter and release (TNR) programs for homeless cats throughout Italy.
